Remember, you should take the batteries away before you clean the toys. The toys can be damaged if the batteries get wet. A worse case is that the batteries may get wet and you still do not notice it. In this case it is highly probable that the toys will be damaged.

You should also pay extra attention to the metallic parts when you are cleaning the toys. You do not want to make your toys become rusty right? You need to make sure that the metallic parts will not get wet. If the parts get wet, you need to rub it with a dry towel. This will help to make sure that these parts will not become rusty.
